The Bringers of Pain

The Bringers of  Pain

I want to be with you
And have just a small clue
Something so simple, something so plain
Think I could hate you
And detest all that you do
But masses confide in the bringers of pain
Dilutions distort
While misery courts
As emptiness wallows, my thoughts turn disdain
Contempt for your soul
And destinys’ role
In love with a something I’ve yet to reclaim
Awake now but useless
With bitter recluse-ness
Enshrined in a cloak of bountiful shame
Befriend the uncommon
Destroy what they taught them
Engulfed in my passions, my pride then retains
